I'm looking forward to seeing this kid Jones pitch, just hope we figure him out.

I know it's early, but this is a key series in the central. Sweeping the Cards and winning a series against the Buccos would add legitimacy to their run and I'd imagine would give the fellas a little swagger going forward from there. Obviously, starting pitching is the big question mark at the moment, and Ross needs to settle down quickly in this one. No days off for a while, so he's got to trust in his defense behind him and limit hard contact. The bullpen itself and Murphy's usage of it have been wonderful to this point. I don't think we could've asked for much more. Go Crew!

The brewers first base curse strikes again.   I look at the lineup and we got a 1b batting .158 and the other guy who plays first is .217.     Aaaaaaaarrrgffffhhhhhhhhh.    Just put yelich at first and be done with it.    The brewers cannot fill that hoLe

or have that Brock wilken kid play first

Through this first stretch of season ... the only positions the Brewers rank in the bottom half of the NL in combined WAR is 1B, DH, and our starting pitching staff.

Jones is very promising. Skenes on deck. Pirates going to be the Burnes and Woodruff Brewers soon.

I don't know. Phillies touched up Jones for 6 a few days ago. He's done well as a rookie, but it's way too early to put him in the Burnes/Woodruff category.

Young guys get hit. Remember Burnes second year? Future is bright though.

Straight heat, though.

Apparently we don't hit "straight" very well then.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave
