Adames and swinging at sliders out of the zone. Name a more iconic couple. He’s just got to be better than that.

Pathetic

I’d love to be GM for a day

There would be a few bottom of the roster changes to address the offense

There may be a few trades of prospects for pitching too

Contreras is the one that bothers me the most…….he's by far the best hitter…..they are playing back…..swings at the first pitch and jams himself for a pop up.

Neither does Bauers, to the surprise of no one.

Black with a couple homers today.  Bauers plays nice defense, but his leash has to be getting short.

Had to swing at that one it was too close to take.  With the umpire today that was a strike even if it didn’t look like it.

Disagree. The first swing prompted my comment; once he got in his typical two-strike hole, the swing at strike three was a foregone conclusion. I hate having him bat 3rd.

Probably should have swung at the 3-0 pitch.  Best pitch to swing at in that AB.

I hate the 3-0 take it is the dumbest non written rule in baseball.

Not so sure i like how hitters attack Myers. .

Swinging at pitches in the middle of the strike zone?

I'm often with you Nate, but on the flipside the pitcher had come close to the plate in 7 pitches and I don't really want my struggling hitter popping up a meatball there. If Yelich or William watch it go by very different story though

That'll do it.

Jake Bauers is our cleanup hitter.  If we're being honest, the first run is the run that did it.

We’ve been playing & winning beyond our talent for several weeks

I predict a slide through May & June before a sell off at the trade deadline

Maybe we can acquire some young talented pitching prospects to set us up for another winning stretch starting in 2026

This team doesn’t have enough talent or depth to win in 2024
