Glass half full...I think today begins a 9-4 run the next 13.  Not a really hot take, I know.  But honestly, I might be disappointed if that doesn't happen since the competition is pretty lacking in the next four series.....

Of course the game yesterday gets rained out, so we get to face Sonny Gray who we otherwise would've missed. Still favorites to win the series, but the recent performances against good starters means this first game could be tough. Also I really, really hope that we get to see some Joey Ortiz this series despite the righty starters.

Bauers has a beautiful swing, and I think Jackson will be in the game by the 6th inning, anyway.

So you think that the guy we pinch hit for a bunch of times (Chourio) will enter the game late for someone else?  Why would we let Chourio enter the game late when that is when we always sub for him when he starts?

Well, they did it a game or two ago as I recall ... you can't see him pinch-hitting for a lefty batter or coming in as a defensive substitute or as a pinch-runner?  I can.

No worries!  He is getting plenty of opportunities!

I just looked at Bauers career stats ... very unimpressive ... maybe he shouldn't start, @TURBO!!!  Maybe you're right, after all!  My apologies!

(I do like Bauer's pretty swing, though)
