I can't understand anyone who isn't at least in favor of the B/S challenge system. This is ridiculous. Zone for Gasser is completely different than the one Perez is getting.

Umps are terrible this year.

This umpire crew has to be the worst in baseball in calling strikes

Was just wondering that.  Following on Gameday.  He stinks back there.

Never thought I’d see an opposite field homer from Frelick.

I love to see the HRs from Sal, but in reality, he should be hitting buttloads of doubles and triples. So many of his hits are seeing eye singles and weak sauce. Let's hope this means he's breaking out.

He just needs more contact, too. For a player with his batted ball profile, he can't be running out K rates above 20%.

Not much question who the Brewers ASG representative will be this year.

Too bad he probably won’t be starting.

It's like that Braves series last year where Acuna was out of his mind.

To be fair, it was more like their entire lineup that went nuts lol. Have never shrugged my shoulders more than that series.

I think it's very possible that Contreras is starting, but I would bet a decent amount of money on Turang being a reserve if he doesn't tail off. Heck, if Yelich stays health and continues to OPS 1.000+ he could be there too.

I'm still dumbfounded Atl traded Contreras.  Such a smart organization, but I guess they can't get them all right.  But even still its not like their current C is bad or anything or the trade didn't 'work' from their end since he has been good too.  But younger cheaper, controlled longer all in Contreras favor.  Think if they had him to go with the core going forward rather than a C entering his 30s

I think it came down to they didn't think he could get the job done on defense. Brewers deserve credit for making him a two way guy.

What's even more dumbfounding in that Oakland basically flipped us Contreras and Payamps for Esteury Ruiz. That's crazy. They could have just kept those guys.

Also, we even got Justin Yeager as a throw in. He may be in our bullpen in a couple of years.

All for Esteury Ruiz.

Yup obviously that's worse. But its OAK so it doesn't surprise me, and he wasn't with them to begin with..   To me its shocking for ATL to miss since they're normally so smart.     But even still when they miss its not like the move didn't work for them as Murphy is also good.  It's just surprising ATL didn't realize what they had considering how smart they normally are.

The same guy who said anything can happen in one game. 😃

A generational heist of a trade.
