Perkins was brought in to face the RHP. Marlins went to the pen. All this meant is they prefer Perkins vs a LHP over Wiemer vs a RHP.

Probably because Sanchez can’t catch it.

At some point Contreras is going to have to cut back on the number of games he catches, and Sanchez is not a good backup.
