Paredes looked good again. If he could be a weapon, this bullpen is suddenly like....potentially special.

Feel like we've had like 4 chances to get to 10 over .500 and lost them all.

Sure would be nice if the top of the order could turn this thing around.

I don’t want another 1-0 loss in the same week

I’d rather lose 10-0 than 1-0 … Freddy deserves better

I'm thinking it's going to be at least 2 to 0

This is attempt #7.

Also, now that Yelich has come in to play the field, the Brewers lose the DH. Meaning, if this game goes ten, the pitcher might be hitting.

Too bad we couldn't use Woody as a pinch hitter.

They still have Miller and Monasterio to pinch hit. Granted, that's still like the pitcher hitting....

Nevermind they just have Monasterio.

I can't believe Dunn stared at a strike 3 right down the middle.   No way that guy should be PHing for anyone at this point.  You're there for D position flex at this point, that's it.

No offense, but I've often seen Woody batting comments and to be honest, I don't quite understand it all. He started off very well certainly but ended up going 6 for his last 65 with 35 Ks.

Wow. I did not know that.

Not much risk of that with that spot 9 batters away and Monasterio still on the bench even in the unlikely event the Brewers tie the game.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

It was in the middle of the plate but at the bottom of the zone.  The Cubs pitchers have done a great job of hitting fastballs at the bottom of the zone and then either preceeding that or following it up with sliders/curveballs that start at the same location and then dropping out of the zone.  Brewers haven't been able to guess correctly all night.

That's because he was facing a bunch of no-name scrubs in the regular season and not a hall-of-famer in the playoffs 😉
