2 ER might be tough....but with this strike zone he should do better than 103 pitches thru 4.2...

Although he looks very hittable tonight

I think they are sitting on the breaking stuff but he has thrown some nasty pitches.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Getting shut down by a guy with a 6+ ERA in the minors. He's thrown some juicy pitches, but they've been early in the count and we're not swinging them yet. Might have to adjust in a hurry.

Nice to get Rutledge in game 1, set the tone early with an easy win and go from there.

Not so far.

Yep , this is something the crew always seems to do!have had some hard hit balls but naturally right at someone!

Not hard contact this inning, but seven hits already for the Nats.

That was hard contact. Eight hits. They're just sitting on the offspeed pitch.

Never heard of the non competitive  pitches thing until a couple of weeks ago , now I focus on it it more and Freddie just throws way to many! Really painful to watch! Just heard BA say ace of the staff. If he's the ace we are in trouble!

Freddy is just a major disappointment. STOP THROWING SLIDERS IN THE ZONE.

The problem seems to be that so many of his fastballs are missing by a foot so the hitters are sitting on off speed pitches.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

This isn't the optimism thread so I'm posting how I feel:

Peralta start so it'll be 3-4 runs by the 3rd inning.

Getting sick sick sick of Peralta.
