Murph said in post game that Yelie’s back is bothering him a bit …….obviously he still played so that’s good but it explains why he wasn’t running full out today .

Don't care about not running full out, do not like hearing back problem. The Brewers desperately need Yelich right now.

So what are everyone's thoughts on Hudson? Does he need an IL stint? Even after the 5 day ASB, he looked absolutely gassed on the mound. That 2nd inning his FB was sitting 88-89 and he still is hardly using the sweeper. I feel like they need to just bite the bullet and stick him on the 15 day IL in hopes a couple weeks off gets him looking like early season Hudson again.

Not sure why he was playing in the all-star game if that's the case. Yelich means that much to the lineup.

Honest question because, as a person who spent significant time living in both states, why do some Brewers and Twins fans hate each other? It doesn't make sense to me. In the decades of the two franchises, they played in the same division for like four years and that ended 25 years ago.

Is it a Vikings/Packers thing that carries over? Because I totally get the Vikings/Packers hatred (and before anyone comes at me, always been a Packers fan first but no longer follow the sport). Because the Twins and Brewers having any kind of animosity for one another feels kinda forced to me and always has.

1987 was my first season as a human being aware of MLB baseball.  The Brewers were awesome and fun (and my dad's team/my team....despite living in Twins media territory), winning 91 games and generally being cool about it despite missing the playoffs.

The Twins won 85 games and won a World Series that year.

So... spite and jealously, mostly.

Once the Brewers switched leagues, I've slowly liked the Twins more and more, but not when they play each other.

He looked injured in both of his last two abs.

Yes, although I'd say as a 20-year MN resident that there is a whole Wisconsin sports envy thing that Minnesotans have, rather than just Packers/Vikings. It's especially true in Badgers/Gophers.

THIS.  After 37 years, I'm finally starting to get over it.

My only reason to dislike the Vikings was Randle/Moss, and they're both long retired.

Other than that, I don't understand the dislike of Minnesota by Wisconsinites.  The demographics are so similar.

Finally, I turned this off after the eleventh.  I just can't stand watching road extras.

Always fun to see in-game thread melt downs after a win.

This game is 9 (sometimes 12) innings

I think it’s fun to see the posters who contribute nothing to the game thread except to come on after the fact and go after posters who are just venting their frustration during the game.

They think they are showing how they are superior to other fans, but are in fact revealing something else about themselves.

Not me. I've never hated the Twins. I kinda like this mini rivalry.

Me either. The Twins fans who come here are much more civil than Cubs or Cardinals fans.

I think it’s people who live in the areas with more heavily mixed fanbases who root strongly against the other team.

I think the border battle is really fun because Minnesota and Wisconsin are so similar; I view it as a friendly challenge but no real animosity behind it.

We all find enjoyment in different things.

I enjoy seeing my team win

Can't they just post stupid things and not get called out on it?
