This mid to late July schedule is about the nicest stretch I can recall. A homestand going into the All-star break, the break of course then a 'road trip' to the Twin Cities and Chicago before going back home. There's a pretty good chance that most of us are traveling more than the team over those 3 weeks.

Final Cubs series of the year and we aren't out of July... that is a bit odd.

I want to win every game... but would also like to see the Cubs not become full fledge sellers in the next few days and grab a bunch of good prospects.

But I want to win every game ... so let's bury them.

So with Joe Ross having his last rehab on 7/19 is there any insight if he is starting Wednesday. Had a horrrible game but don't know what else they can do with him at this point and they need a starter.

Off day Thursday so they may decide to go BP day on Wednesday. How much the pen is used the next two days would factor into that. Otherwise Ross is lined up, but as you said he didn't look great.

Looks like a bullpen game on Weds

Going to guess Bryse Wilson as starter for Wednesday.

Does anyone here have Spectrum? If so, is the feed freezing or straight-up paused for you? I have audio, but it's iffy on the video.

Was just about to post the same thing.  I have Spectrum and it keeps freezing.

At least I'm not alone, I guess! Spectrum is dropping the ball right now.

I'm casting Spectrum from my phone. Not having issues at all.

I don't even know what that means....

First things first.

Brewers need 1 win in this series to take the season series from the Cubs. Would be nice to get that out of the way tonight.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Hoskins just has no plan up there.

I don’t care that he homered yesterday. He’s been so unimpressive compared to what he was before hurting his knee. Too bad the Brewers are likely stuck with him next year too.

If he doesn't hit home runs, he doesn't hit.

Two failures from the #5 hitter who doesn’t belong there.
