As streaky as he is he can carry an offense on his back at times and can hit high end pitching at times.

The question is why did you expect any differently. Monasterio got an even more high leverage AB against Johnson last week with 3 LHH on the bench and even though Monasterio struck out in silly fashion, Murphy still defended the decision as the right call in the post game presser.
