Nice inning from the offense.  More than just the run, long AB’s enough to give Montas a breather after the crazy short inning prior.  Wouldn’t have been good to send him back out after another quick 3 up and 3 down.

When things are going bad it just seems to work that way that every line drive you hit finds a glove and when things are going good every jam job and busted bat find the outfield.

Really nice outing for Montas. I had pretty much chalked this trade up as a loss but if he can contribute in the playoffs the way he did tonight, not so much. He definitely had me eating some crow tonight. 

Right now the Brewers rotation kind of reminds me of the Packers WR corps. No #1's...but quite a few guys who can get the job done on any given day.
