Probably was a bad idea to leave Webb out there for like 150 pitches, Mr. Melvin.

Ok it was like 110. But that's like 150 twenty years ago.

Yeah, that's going to be the biggest loss for sure. The additions are exciting, perhaps a healthy Yelich and an effective and healthy Woodruff would be amazing (though probably less realistic than we think).

But losing Adames will sting.

Unfortunate. Brewers have the money of course and I would argue if Hoskins opts out you have even more. Depressing to watch him walk for nothing. He will be missed.

We'll be ok. We have talent at the position in the organization. But it is nice having a SS who hits for power.

The Brewers will definitely give him the QO and get a pick once he signs somewhere and probably with the Dodgers.

I hoped for a trade but he's been really good for us this year.

True but obviously not the way to stay relevant in today's game. Ortiz can probably handle it on D but third has been a black hole for years. An infield with Turang Ortiz and black hole is rough offensively.

They have an entire off season to figure it out. I'm guessing next year's third baseman isn't on the roster right now.
