This has been one of Murphy's worst managed games all year.

Playing for 1 run in the 7th inning with a sac bunt against one of the best offenses in the MLB.

Letting Ashby pitch to Grichuk when he clearly had showed he didn't have it with Payamps ready in the pen.

Not letting Payamps pitch the 8th inning despite being extremely fresh and only throwing 5 pitches in the 7th. Opting to use Megill and Williams in the 8th and 9th who will both be throwing for the 4th time in 6 days.

He's just not at all a good in game manager.

He is good at some things but bullpen management is not one of them.
