And we oblige in spades.  I don't get these arguments that execution is part of what makes good teams good and bad teams bad.

I would agree with this assessment—execution separates these teams more than anything, and I kind of would expect that if the team is the youngest in the league, which we are. But at some point, that can’t always be the excuse. Either the team has to grow up right now, or we have to add more veteran talent somehow. After next year, we have to start making money decisions on guys like Clark, Gary, and/or Jaire, and the window will start to close. If the time isn’t now, it’s imminent, so I get the frustration.

I just think we’re really close. Agonizingly close.

Better root for Atlanta tonight. They may be our only hope of avoiding Philly in round 1.

If we weren't going to come out and blow the doors off in this one I think I'd rather just have a more fun game in Philly that absolutely nobody expects us to win. Put old yeller down quickly or surprise everyone with a huge win.

Next big game that we have, MLF should just meet the opposing coach at midfield pregame, allow himself to be pantsed by the opposing coach, trot back to the sidelines, trousers around ankles and save the teams the wear and tear of the actual game.

Can’t play the Saints and Spencer Rattler every week, Matt.

3 of the last 4 Packers wins have come against 2 backup QBs that played a whole game and the 3rd where the backup took over halfway through the 3rd quarter. And they had lulls in offensive effectiveness that was basically ignored by everyone because those games were easy wins.

Wishful thinking aside,  the Packers are much closer to middle of the pack than top tier.

The only silver lining to this is assuming we don’t come back, Detroit and Minnesota are playing for the division  and #1 seed next week.

As much as I hate Viking fans my hatred for Lion fans now somehow exceeds that and I love the thought of them going from presumed #1 seed to heading out on the road for the wild card round in a game they could lose.

I don't agree.

Weren't not bad but certainly not at the 1st tier of teams.

We probably have the weakest QB in the division.

Williams is playing for the worst franchise

The Vikings won't win the Super Bowl and the Lions possibly could so I definitely prefer Minnesota to get 1.

Last week was a “fun” game but if anyone actually read anything into it, that’s on them. It’s a stretch to even say that the Saints put out a professional football team.

Yep. It's nice to win big against bad teams, but the Packers need to play a lot better against the very good teams. The Packers are a decent team, no doubt, but they're not quite in the "very good" category.

I am not excusing thus awful show by the Pack but I think Vikings are better than many give them credit for.

I know its the IGT and its common to think the Packers are better than they are, but there is a clear difference in talent here.

It’s hard for me to believe that a team that looks honestly really consistently good outside of these 5 games against the best teams just isn’t any good, but whatever they’re bringing to the table in these big games just is not cutting it.

They'll choke

I don't know. I actually think this might be the year that they get back to the super Bowl.

Yeah, I gotta be honest. I was fine with losing this game and borderline preferred it as long as it was like the Lions 2.0 game, but this absolute wet fart has me thinking this is more of a top 10 team than a top 3 team. They've just done this too often against top contenders, it can't be excused away. It's who they are.

Love's awful showing is most concerning to me at the moment. Let's see if he can get it together.

I have to agree. We all know what the weaknesses of the team are but Love's inconsistent if not mediocre season has to be a concern.
