Wow! I’m thrilled to see Henderson pitch so well in his MLB debut.

He looks a notch better than Priester, Gasser, & Patrick

He might not be having a good game but his defensive metrics are the same or better than Ortiz. And he can hit. Plus he's only 23.

I've said for awhile, I wish they would dump all five of our announcers. BA and Bill just aren't around enough for my taste. But my fear is they would hand the full-time gig to Levering who is absolutely one of my most all-time hated announcers. He just annoys me to no end.

I'm not sold on Ortiz but he doesn't look overwhelmed by a routine grounder. Now hitting is where he appears overwhelmed.

The Bird (Fidrych) blew out his shoulder in his next season. He really was an exciting player in ‘76. Got to see him pitch twice that year. Typically pitched to sellout crowds after May. The most entertaining player I’ve ever seen in the MLB.
