I would have easily put him as a top 3-5 player in history but I guess I will have to drop him down if he decides to be David Ortiz

Pretty sure he has been throwing bullpens, they are taking it extra extra slow. It is also though because you can't send him to the minors for a rehab anything.

He looks like he could use a day off to me………just swinging at so many pitches wayyy off the plate for the last few weeks it seems.

Last year they sent him down for a week or two and came back hot for the rest of the season.

Chourio didn’t get sent down last year…….at least I don’t remember it.

Swinging at way too many pitches out of the zone. 43% (and going up) swing rate on pitches out of the zone this year after being "just" 32% last year.
