Maybe we could all stop feeding the troll and just let him continue to yap nonsense into the ether.

I'm a troll? 🤣 That's comical. So having different opinions than "The Brewrfan Click" gets you labeled as a troll. Ay? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ok. Whatever. I've been called much worse, and I'm still breathing.

What you find disappointing is of little consequence to me and I didn't say he hasn't been disappointing this year. He got hurt. That's "disappointing."

I'm trying to convey how similar Suarez and Hoskins have been as hitters. I do realize I have to spell everything out in very simple terms for you.

You're still here? Thought I asked you to please block/unfollow me? At least it seems like you may have calmed down now, a smidge. I'm serious. Block me, so you can't see my comments. If may even be willing to pay you, to do it. Lol that's sarcasm.

True. I've never been good at heading Twain's advice.

I'm fairly certain @bigred and @brewers888are the same person. Once the original premise was kinda blown up, he came back in to continue to make some...amusing arguments/proclamations.

Same person? Ok, I'm gonna say this now. Please seek psychological help for your anger issues, asap. 🤣🤣 I'm not them, and don't care in the least if you don't believe me. Which you probably don't. Lol

Yeah, just amused by the "Brewerfan click" you have imagined in your head here.

And... sorry to break it to ya, but you "telling me" to block you couldn't mean less to me(and you may not know how this board works, but there aren't "followers).

Ya don't say!

If only there was a font to articulate you're being sarcastic!

But despite you're trolling, it's still entertaining enough...and you sure do seem worried about it. Even as I write this, I have another notification from you.

The more you respond/berate me, the more I'm gonna defend myself, which i have every right to do. Obviously you're a "have to have the last word" kind of person.

You're the one who imagining things in your head. You imagined me being someone else! You're the pot calling the kettle black! Lol. Dude, just stop. This hasn't gotten way out of hand.

There's definitely a "click" here, of people who go absolutely bonkers if anyone has the GALL to disagree with them. Lol. It's blatantly obvious, with lots of proof to prove it.

People like this "click" are bad fir this site. I already know of a few people who have left the site, because of them, and their narcissistic behavioral tendencies, for simply having a different opinion.

LOL...awe... you're such a victim!

You realize this kinda looses all impact when you then AGAIN quote me!

I guess we're going with the "nuh-uh, you are," stage of this?

Bud, stop whining about stopping this after you've replied multiple times without me replying.

🤣 You're truly something else! Lol I have 2 psychiatrists and a psychologist in my family, and honestly, I showed them some of your comments to me in the past, and I'll be showing them some of these you sent today. Wanna know what they said about you? I'd be willing to bet, that you don't. You won't believe them, anyway.

Meant wouldn't. I misspelled a word. PLEASE forgive me! I'm only a mere human! 🤣

Hey... sport. You have 3 of the last 4 posts and... while I'm quite sure you're in a group chat right now with your family analyzing my posting on Brewerfanatic.com... which would be ironic given your current claims, I thought you wanted this to end?

It's been generally incoherent claims that you're the only one who wants to win and you'd NEVER give up Made, that's ridiculous, but you would if you got a magical guarantee it got you a "ship" and the same thing on a loop. So.... reply twice, finish it out and then lets move back on so we can have big boy conversations about the trade deadline. Sound good?

And...go!

So, anyway...

I wonder if Arnold believes enough in the ascendence of Made and Pena to part with Pratt.

Does he believe enough in Patrick, Myers, and Gasser to part with Henderson?

Another thing for Arnold to wrestle with is the fact that we are a team full of young players. We want them to develop. It's not the same as LAD who are stocked with expensive veterans.

There is no need to have concern about the development of an aging veteran on an expiring contract. For MKE, the development of Durbin, Collins, and Ortiz has a value that's hard to quantify when we consider upgrading the roster and putting one of them on the bench or into a UTIL role.

One of the proposals I’ve seen in the media is Henderson for Suarez straight up.

Wonder how people would feel about that.

I'd think if you could go out and get a guy who has 3 years left like... Gunnar Henderson or Abrams, I'd be fine giving up Pratt and Henderson(and probably then some).

Ortiz could have a ton of value as a utility player if he continues to hit.

I just can't think of any teams that would be willing to trade a SS who's got 3-4 WAR value(or better) who'd be on the market and who hasn't hit arbitration yet. The ones that have, you'd imagine teams would want you to really overpay for them.

I'm not trying to ruin anyone's parade. Just trying to get some "fans" here to stop settling for mediocrity, Being good in the regular season means the Crew are just pretenders. Very good pretenders, but pretenders nonetheless. If wanting the Crew to actually win a title makes me a "bad person", then so be it. If they don't care if we ever win a title, then what's the point of being a "fan" then?

Dude, you're starting with a completely faulty assumption. Did you ever consider that virtually every one else here would give their right arm to see the Brewers win a WS?

The problem is that the approach you're advocating for is far from guaranteed to result in a WS title. And depending how you look at it not any substantially more likely to result in a WS title than the approach the Brewers FO has been adopting of developing from within and generating as many opportunities as they can.

Bottom line is just because we're enjoying the success of this season and other seasons doesn't mean we don't want more. The literal purpose of this game is to provide us with entertainment, and that aspect can certainly be lost when you're in constant consternation about how the FO isn't doing enough to accomplish something that only 1 of 30 teams does every year. Ring culture has ruined sports, and you seem to be an unfortunate, even if unwitting, byproduct of that.

I'm on record against including Henderson in any trade involving a 2 month rental like Suarez.

Josh Adamczewski at some point, I think, is going to be added to this list whenever we talk about our middle infield guys. I do know there are levels to prospect hype... but he just hits and hits and hits.

It might be a shrewd move by an opposing GM to fight for Pratt and then "settle" for Josh.

I’m not even a prospect hugger but I would hate this.

im totally guilty of seeing a young guy succeed in the majors I automatically start to inflate their value in my head (ya I’m there with Gasser, Patrick, Misiorowski, and Myers too lol).

I theory, we have the track record of polishing turds into viable big league pitchers, but I still hate trading away any of the young starters for an expiring contract.

Henderson+Yoho and another prospect for Suarez and Justin Martinez and I'd be on board with that.

I think you'd probably be selling Henderson at close to his peak value and if you could get back another arm who could be part of the back of the pen in the future? Probably unlikely. Most likely they'd deal Miller or Ginkel(who is actually kinda interesting himself despite having a big ERA).

When it comes to trades, nothing is ever guaranteed. I know that. There's no way to know, though, unless we try.

There's literally been more than one comment in this fiasco, when people made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that they're happy with just being good in the regular season. If that's how they truly feel, then so be it. But, man, that just seems like a ho-hum attitude to have.

So would I. It won't take that to get him anyway. I'm just tired of getting bounced from the playoffs right away, every year. The year we're having, especially after the terrible start we had, I think this is a year to actually make some trades and try and make a deep run, or win it all.
