If he's ever going for a third win in a row, will we see 'hat trick' coupled with Patrick?

I've done it before!

Important Badger Mutual Insurance run, especially considering who's coming in for the bottom half.

He's given up one earned run in his last nine appearances.

I think we can give that a rest.

When yelich hits the ball the team wins.  If he was a consistently good hitter we will become a consistently good team.   He’s just a consistently bad hitter and we become a mediocre to bad team.   It’s just that simple.   He needs to be good and we will be better

In your fays, Rays!

Get a real ballpark!

The plane will now soon embark!

Tell the Indians to start their rain dance!

That's their only chance!

We're about to start our winning prance!

Our guys have altered their batting stance!

You won't notice if you just glance!

We are wearing our winning big boys pants!

Hey, a “comeback” win.

Three straight Salvage Sundays.

The Rays have real ballpark.  Tropicana Field is still recovering from Hurricane Milton.

Payamps avoids being DFA'd for yet another day.

Not that they had a lot of tough plays but today is a reminder of just what you can accomplish when you don't give extra outs & walk folks. Patricks' leadoff walk to Jansen stunk out loud though.

Key outs from Alexander, who I've railed on. Although the final out he recorded was a touch scary.

Just the one hit today, but dare I say Ortiz is starting to appear more comfortable at the plate.

Maintaining the lead as the best franchise all time on Mother's Day.

Almost as good as winning a World Series. Maybe Mark can fly a banner for his team’s accomplishment.

I'm starting to get on the Jake Bauers bandwagon.  He doesn't make mistakes and surprisingly a decent outfielder, LF or RF plus a good arm and batting .294 his last 15 games.

Of course, I knew that.  Just trying to be humorous.  :classic_cool:

How are we three games back in the division? 🙂

In large part because the Cubs have played by far the toughest schedule in MLB.

Only 9 of their 41 games have been against teams under .500. They are done for the year with all of their games against the Dodgers, Padres, and DBacks and have played one of their series against the Mets, Phillies, and Giants. That’s 29 of their 41 games so far against the top teams in the NL.

The Brewers have played 7 games against those teams and went 2-5 in them.I’d hate to think what kind of record the Brewers would have if they had that schedule.

For the rest of May, the Cubs play two series against each of the Marlins, Rockies, and Redsand one series against the White Sox. Let’s see how things look in  3 weeks

All true also, the Cards have quietly won 8 in a row with the Reds right on our tail. We better keep pace now for sure or we could quickly be in 4th place in the Central wondering what happened.
