Can we get out of this mess without them scoring?

Shoot.  I spoke too soon.   It was fun while it lasted.

I remember years ago there were complaints when the Brewers seemed to have a different lineup every day. They were having trouble scoring runs and the comments here were that it was hard to hit when you were moving around in the lineup. Now there are comments that it's hard to hit when we aren't moving around. Maybe the problem isn't the manager and the lineup order? And there have been different hitting coaches so I don't think it is a hitting coach problem either.

Different positions on the field all the time I agree with but not the batting order.

And replace him in the 3-hole with.............

And please don't say "anybody else". There's way too much of that on sports message boards.

Chourio, Contreras, Hoskins or Bauers would be a much better choice.

When almost nobody in the lineup is hitting it doesn’t make any difference what order you hit them in.

Personally I don't think batting order matters that much so long as you don't do ridiculous things like put the best hitters 7,8,9. More than anything you don't want to lose an AB in the 9th inning for a good hitter because you didn't get around to him again.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

That play had a 0.03 xBA. Why are we breaking it down?? Is Levering that desperate to make our guys look good?

And Vinny Rottino is a "homer" to the max also.

Yes, they are that desperate. They finally get a multi run inning and they act like all of the problems are solved and now the runs are going to flow freely.

Most of MLB teams' color guys are.  The guy for the Pirates is one of the worst.

Homer!   But no matter Hoskins has been hotter than hell.   I hope this game helps get the others going this weekend.

Hoskins playing himself into a tradeable asset is such a nice surprise after the start of the season we all had.

Well maybe but the best Rhys we have seen since his ACL surgery on March 31, 2023.
