This entire game is a perfect encapsulation of a team that can't lose and a team that can't win. The Twins are playing better but they're also just lucky af while the Brewers are the opposite.

Where is all this bad luck for the Brewers. It looks to me like they hit one or two balls hard a night so its just a matter of them being terrible.

Hyde fired by the Orioles and he had more good will imo than Murphy. I say all star break he's gone.

They can all go other than Hook who has proven himself to be an excellent pitching coach.

I'm fine with firing the hitting coaches. Murphy isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, obviously.

I don’t really care for the two hitting coach concept. Too many voices in the ear — more is not always better when it comes to coaching and quantity is not going to substitute for quality.

But the main problem is that Arnold didn’t do a good job assembling this roster. This lineup can’t hit its way out of a wet paper bag. So while I’m good with a new direction to help guys like Chourio get through these stretches and improve, it isn’t going to fix the offense.

Adames has had a rough start i guess but imo the guy was clearly the glue. Some guys bring more value than others for reasons other than the field. Brewers have got to get in the game or just sell the club to someone who will. That said you gotta be smart. No justification for paying Yelich and Hoskins 40 million and letting Adames walk.

See?

Perks of hiring a competent hitting coach and not hiring your 65 year old buddy that's never been an MLB hitting coach

There's a lot of glue. Adames was a good clubhouse guy. Ueck when he was around always lightened the mood. Berry was a good energy guy. Rea and Miley were good clubhouse guys. Brewers lost a lot of good clubhouse people this offseason.

In 2022, while in the White Sox minor league system, Meyers went 1–15 with a 7.82 ERA in 76 innings.  He was second in the minors in losses that year. Unfortunately, I’m starting to think 2024 was a fluke.

They have 3 hitting coaches now not 2 and the lead hitting coach is 65 years old and has never been an MLB hitting coach before

Someone needs to be the scapegoat but it's still just a team full of bad hitters and AAAA players. Yelich might just be done physically, Contreras is hurt, and Chourio looks like a streaky hitter who's lost his confidence.

Maybe a hitting coach can straighten those three out. Turang is what he is and no real complaints about his bad. Frelick is a light-hitting on-base guy who doesn't seem to be doing much of that, either.

Hoskins, fine.

The rest of the lineup? Junk. Bauers has had a nice start but he's getting way too many ABs. There's just no depth. Last night pinch-hitting Collins for Ortiz, while seems like a good idea, is a good indictment of where this team really is.

Trust me, that's not it. The Twins' offense was horrid to start the season. They're just getting into the ball right now with some pretty lackluster talent, it will end unless they can get their real hitters back from the IL.

This has reached peak pathetic. You can hope things will turn around somewhat soon or you can just accept that maybe this is just what this team is.

Looks like management has determined 2025 can be a reset year & winning can be postponed until 2026 or 2027.

I hope they will deal as many of these mediocre players as possible.

I’d rather finish 60-102 than 81-81 (which may be unattainable anyway)

Yeah okay, I'm done with this game.

Aren’t you a Twins fan?

Why aren’t you celebrating on the original website & leave us to our misery here on what was once a Brewers forum.

Or maybe their new hitting coach took a little time to get the ship turned around

So I'm not allowed to be disappointed by the Brewers looking like a dumpster fire when I expected them to compete this season?

The most frustrating part of this whole disaster was it was predictable and easy to see coming. It's not like your star player at 3rd base got hurt. This isn't Dame Lilard tearing an Achilles.
