Koenig sucks too.    Tough spot to be put in but just raising the white flag there.    Need to do the classic brewers turn over half the bullpen at all star break

This is turning into a dangerous stretch for the Brewers.

Don’t know what to expect from Woodruff tomorrow and then the Dodgers juggernaut comes to town.

The offense is showing signs of sputtering.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

He should have started the inning if he were available. I didn't realize Mears had pitched 3/4 games. I thought they had no other options.

Actually, we should have stayed with Hall since he wouldn't have pitched tomorrow. Oh well, I realize this is a bit of MMQB-ing. I'm more disappointed in the offense. Pathetic performance today besides Jackson. It looked like they were guessing most of the game.

0-12 when scoring exactly 2 runs. Not sure it means anything besides 2 runs usually isn’t enough.

Bad ABs up and down the lineup all day with the exception of Chourio.  Taking strikes and swinging at balls which they did all day is not a formula for winning.   Koenig gets beat on his 3rd best pitch on the key AB of the game.  Where was the 97-98 mph heater in that situation?

Was this effort, one of the poorest of the season, a result of the 2nd day hangover from getting in late after a night game Thursday and having to play a day game after a night game Friday?  Probably had something to do with it.

Hopefully they'll be rested for tomorrow or they'll lose another winnable series.

Yeah there was really no reason to pull Hall. 23 pitches to get through 2 and 8-9-1 was coming up. Honestly it probably ended up being a good thing that Koenig couldn't strand the bases loaded. Who pitches the 9th or extras at that point and did we have any faith the offense would score another run?

With Woodruff making his first MLB start in nearly two years tomorrow while not fully stretched out, it would have been a disaster if that game kept going and you had to burn Anderson or Megill/Uribe

Yes, they need to add a couple of consistent bats. Isn’t going to happen though. Score 6+ runs today, take the series., and we’ll forget about Saturday.
