Chalk it up to might be a big reach but Braylon Payne is now following Ma'Kale Holden on instagram. That was definitely not the case until today.

For what it’s worth, BA has Holden at 163 on their top 500. Underwood was 349.

CJ Hughes is 215, Lauridsen 455, Roupe 445, and Cadiz unranked.

Though my hopes for Cadiz have gotten pretty slim as he's still playing in the WCL as of last night. He's crushing that league. Basically a Top 10 hitter in the entire league.

We in Camp Cadiz must remain steadfast and strong. Kid just wants to ball any chance he gets. Absolute mash potatoes served up with his Walla Walla Sweets.

When is the deadline again today, and when do we think we're going to find out?  Is this going to go right up to the last second?

Gotta think with the Cubs in town, the Crew would be announcing stuff by 3pm to clear time afterward for all the extra Cub focus.

WOW Coil is a shock. They must’ve been lowballing because he had hardly any leverage. Makes me think a gaggle of HS players are about to be announced very soon.

They sure typically do lowball, with seniors.  Yoho.  Owens.

So many people said there was a zero chance of him signing. I will make sure to not listen to those people in the future. 😉

With Bentley it seems like there’s a hair under $1m left to spend. Maybe 1 or 2 more signings to come?

Spend it on Coil 😉

Just kidding. Yeah I was surprised by Bentley, wow. Hoping for UCLA fans to be unhappy today

The past few years they did not really sign that many of the 17-20th round types, but did usually sign 1, so I thought Roupe was it. But we also usually get the 11-13th rounders too but Parker ('24) and Underwood ('25) break that rule. So it's unpredictable I guess. Who knew 😉

Those guys seem to be insurance if the higher drafted HS kids don't really want to sign. It makes sense to do that but the "less than zero chance" posts I saw was a little over the top.
