I think that's the last we'll see of Yoho for this year.

Include him in a trade so we can stop trying to make him a big leaguer

You guys are being pretty rough on Yoho. He is a young guy with not a lot of experience.

So why pitch him in the ninth inning of an important game one of the Cubs series

Surely there are better places to use him

And if your response is … we had a four run lead … exactly my point

I've soured a lot on Yoho this year though not necessarily because of how poor he has pitched in the big leagues. Devin Williams blowing the series last year really has made me quite velo-pilled when it comes to leverage relievers. I just think Yoho ultimately ends up as a Milner/Anderson style middle reliever who relies on being very unique rather than with sheer overpowering stuff.

Every game is important. The problem is not getting much length from Mis.

I would have given him another batter (and said to just throw fastballs) rather than worrying about increasing Megill's save total.

I haven’t given up him…..his stuff looks really good…….but as of yet he just can’t be counted on to throw strikes……..and if you can’t throw strikes you can’t be a relief pitcher in a pennant race.

I think he will figure it out……but I just don’t trust him yet.

He was missing with fastballs too……..

Nice way to start the series. Going to need Priester to have a long start tomorrow. Maybe even Ashby to close, pending a roster move.

Is it too punitive to send Yoho back to Nashville?

Fun trade … Yoho & Cortes to NYY for Devin Williams & a middle infielder

This is a joke, right?

Send Hook out there and make the adjustment.

I was wrong. I looked at all brewer box scores 5+runs. 3 was the most. I didn't go through 4 run games.

Love to see we won. Game wouldn't have been so tense with that missed strike 3 in the 1st and 3 runs scoring.

Very reasonable take. I just wish his fastball played better. Because it doesn't, and because I just haven't seen the type of jump I was hoping to see this past off-season (I personally think he's plateau'd since first arriving at Nashville - we could even argue he's regressed), I've also soured quite a but on 2025 Craig.

Come on with this……every manager is taking him out with Suzuki up there and PCA on deck……

If Yoho walks Suzuki and then PCA runs into one against Trevor people would have been calling for Murphy head.

I was ok letting him pitch the 9th…..but walking 2 guys on pitches that weren’t close with the meat of the order coming up made it an easy call going to Trevor.

fortunately he only had to throw 3 pitches

Old school baseball decisions like that don't make analytical sense. Extremely likely that Yoho can get that last out without burning through a Megill appearance............

Yoho had completely lost his release point. He threw a combined 1 pitch in the strike zone to Busch and Tucker with most of the pitches missing up and arm side because his arm was late.

Well, you guys can thank the new guy and his bratwursts.

We were down 3-0 before I went out to grill.

I'm taking 100% credit for this one !! 😁

Wait, wasn't there a poster who took a shower and then put on his lucky Brewers shorts and immediately Yelich hits a dinger?  He should get some of the credit too.

That's why you send out one of the best pitching coaches in baseball to get back on track.
