Jesús Made has been promoted to A+ Wisconsin.  He may not be the only one headed to the Rattlers either.

He isn’t  the only one

While Nashville was 1 pitcher short in their 8-7 loss, Wisconsin was 1 batter short in their 2-1 extra inning defeat.

Blayberg and rehabbing Berroa hit back-to-back doubles to tie the game in the bottom of the 8th.

And Yhoswar hit a 2-out triple in the bottom of the 9th, but was stranded (Nicasia K).

A sac fly plated Lake County’s Manfred Man in the 10th, but Wisconsin’s was stranded at 3rd.

Curt Hogg beat me to it, but Luis Peña is also headed to Appleton.  Adamczewski will be next up, but I haven’t heard any confirmation of that to this point.

The only reason Made and Peña would be announced before Adamczewski is health and games under their belt and positional versatility - ie tenure this season. Adamczewski 'should' be the first player promoted based on actual performance. One could argue (politely, mind you) that this over-placing Made given his slump over the past two months - hasn't hit a long ball since late May. Repeated outs on the basepaths due to over-aggressive focus errors. Defense has been solid. Either way, let's hope all three hit the ground running and they rightfully get Josh up there very soon. He has no business continuing to crush Low-A pitching - it's time they take the training wheels off now that he has a better understanding of his back woes. And, obviously, the addendum here would be: unfortunately, nobody besides Garcia is holding any of our Low-A studs back from heading to High-A. That much is clear. Let's just hope Wisconsin can get a nice boon from the talent influx.

They traded Rodriguez from the ACL squad to SDP.

Dickinson straight to Carolina?? Would they dare push Ebel or Hughes?

One would think Fielder and Encarnacion could debut in Carolina, along with Daniel Dickinson, with Fischer joining Pena, Made, and soon Adamczewski in Wisconsin?

It would be cool to see Fielder prove wrong all those teams that didn't draft or sign him.

Mini mildly annoyed rant:

I'm obviously very happy for Made and Peña. Wisconsin needs talent. But, man alive, I have been peripherally annoyed by the Brewers kind of second-classing Adamczewski since ST. Raked in his call up last season. Raked in ST. Didn't get placement in the ST Future Stars game. Absolutely mashes since his return from the IL - outpacing his early mash - doesn't get the first call up and doesn't get the public mention. I know he is slightly pigeon-holed by being a 2B only. BUT, man alive, we are talking about possibly the best pure hitter in the entire system. It's time the Brewers take the training wheels off here. It's time they start treating him like the Star he is. I watch wayyyyyyyy too much Brewers Minor League baseball to not speak strongly on this stuff when I see it and when it happens. I'm going to say my piece here. Get him to Appleton and give him his moment.

I just don't really see how they make it work with Adamczewski in A+ if they view Fischer as a 3B also with Dinges back there soon as well. Dinges is going to DH 2-3 days a week so it would be pretty much impossible to rotate Fischer, Made, Pena, Adamczewski through 3 positions and DH.

Nice to see C Matt Wood back in the line up! Also: Pratt was pulled for a pinch runner in the first inning after a walk? Going to go take a look now

Also, RHP KC Hunt's absolute inconsistent roller coaster season continues. Back-and-forth we go. 3 HR allowed today. Wooof. Shuckers trail 5-3 after getting two back in the fourth.

Fouled a ball off his knee, stayed in and took the walk but could barely (actually) walk. Didn’t even go to first base after taking ball 4…hobbled to the dugout instead

Because, of course. It's 2025 after all. My goodness. Naturally, MiLB.TV is doing that random thing (has done it to me multiple times this season) where I can't go back and look while the game is playing.

They could get a head start on Adamczewski's inevitable move to the OF. There's nothing in Wisconsin in LF.

With the Shuckers 8-4 loss at Pensacola, that concludes what might qualify as the ugliest week on the Farm all season. With the Big Club humming. this is the price we must pay it appears.

Folks in the Fox Valley - just a note, the TRats only have 12 remaining home games on the season as hard as that is to believe. If Made and Pena show out at all, they have a good chance to start next year in AA ... so you have 2 remaining six game home stands to get out and see them!

My gosh, finally some reinforcements for the T-Rats.

Was at Friday's and today's game, and that line-up is putrid, it's even worse than that, I'm being polite.

I follow the farm from afar but this week has been beyond ugly. Hopefully the promotions give these kids a much needed spark

That AA team could be a LOT of fun next year.

I know if didn't work out great in 2008, but I remember having LaPorta, Salome, Green, Brantley, Gamel, Taylor Green, LoCain, Nomar's brother(though Normah should have played in Milwaukee in stead of Bahston)...I think Maldanado was on that team... among others.

So what's the AA team look like potentially?

1B-Burke
2B-Pena
SS-Made
3B-Fischer
C-Dinges
LF-Adamscewski
CF-Payne(by some point)
RF-Bitonti
DH-IDK, Adams, Boeve... neither since they'll be in AAA probably, but I'm kinda reaching  after LF.
Utility-Dickinson(maybe optimistic).

I don't really care who or what they round it out with, there are going to be 5-6 guys at AAA like Pratt, Wilken, Boeve, Adams, Murray...and I suppose Quero starts in AAA again given this has been a bit of a lost-season after a completely lost-season. But I still think he's got a bright future. He's also still young for a well rounded catcher. Just has to get right and sting together a couple good months of health. We may reach a point where Quero and Dinges end up like Salome and Lucroy where the more touted catcher gets passed up for the most steady one.

Looking at that AA lineup with the BL team’s controlled positional core it is just an amazing time to be a Brewers fan. Goodness gracious.
