We really miss dl hall.    He actually can in and gave us 3 innings or so of good innings to save the bullpen.    This was the perfect game for Myers to do it but he failed yesterday.   I’m almost at the point of instead of a guy like a McGee who is a waste of a spot just bring up a guy like Patrick to pitch 3-4 innings.   I think we can give up hope of anybody pitching 7 innings anymore.  Let alone a couple of them

I read this and thought ... 'man, this dude never seems to have anything good to say.' So I went and looked, you've posted like 11000 times in the last few weeks and the ONLY positive thing you said about anything that wasn't tongue in cheek was complimenting the umpires for being relatively mistake free the last few games. Everything else is doomsday. We suck, Megill sucks, pitching sucks, "what's the point of following this team anymore", Seigler sucks, Bauers sucks, "how many games up are we on the wild card?", etc. I'm also now giving you credit for saying something nice about Hall.

I'm not actually saying you are doing anything wrong by the way. People can be fans however they choose.

I'm actually impressed.

The game threads are filled with negativity. One would think the Brewers are 30 games under .500. People posting the Brewers suck, the Cubs will blow by them, they are terrible. The other threads have reasonable discussion and good content.

If the brewers were 30 games under .500, there wouldn’t be a game thread.    And if there was people would talk about anything other than the games.  I can guarantee you that

You are going to get better discussion before and after the games when people have time to process what happened

i would tell people not to worry about it so much     But that has been hashed over a million times over years and years since these forums were invented     So it’s just going to go over their heads at this point    Some people see what they want to see and I can live with that

I see a team that has the best record in baseball by 6 games and clearly doesn’t suck. You?

The thing I will say about Willie is that I believe 100% that he is a Brewer fan and wants the Brewers to win. 😅

Which I can’t say for some of the newer mystery people with 10-100 posts bizarrely ranting in the GTs lately.

I've been posting here for a LONG time, during some pretty lean years. There has never not been a game thread.

Brewers are in a good spot.    Probably the best spot they have ever been.

I think I started posting back around the brewers first playoff appearance since god knows when in 2008 at the old js online forum which was the Wild West if anyone was on there back then

my statement was more there wouldn’t be as much engagement etc

btw I do appreciate the mods on this board    They aren’t hardcore policing every post   It’s enjoyable

I don’t know why but this makes me recall a grilled cheese game thread from 2006, I believe against the Reds.

Let’s just never bring back the Haiku-only game threads, please.

Hmmmm...  Looks like Brewers going with an 'OPENER' tonight, Ashby is listed as the starter on the website.

I’m not coming down on you at all. Sports is fun to follow and getting emotional is part of fandom. You just seem over the top negative most of the time.

I'm assuming Ashby once through the order tonight but still Quinn for the bulk innings?

So half right.  Ashby opening but not for Quinn.
