Did not expect a 3-2 loss tonight, but once I saw the lineup the Brewers scoring only 2 was a real possibility.

What's the 1st base coach doing there?

I don’t think the 1st base coach sent him.  It looked like Mona went on his own.

You can't sit Frelick and Collins in any game unless they are asking out. You don't have enough to have Lockridge Perkins Mona Bauers. I don't care what Chourio looks like get him up here.

He was already a .200 hitter. I'm not sure what Arnold saw in him.

I never understood why some folks thought he was a reasonable acquisition. His numbers speak for themselves.

Cubs lead 3-1.

I see the Giants have Webb scheduled for tomorrow. The Giants usually use a 5 man rotation but with an off day on Monday they are using Webb on 4 days rest and skipping a fifth starter.

I would have signed up for 3 runs allowed before the game in a heartbeat.

Best team in baseball in hitting with risp went 1-12 tonight.

That’s the game.

Fedde did his job…..so did McGee

They’re just going to insist on making this a close race in September with losses like this.

I think it’s a given since we basically don’t have players.    I’m dreading these Phillies and blue jays games if we are going to be pitching some of these guys

Probalby hope that cubs tread some water but I don’t know if that’s realistic.

The play is in front of him.  That’s 100% on Mona.

Honestly, this felt like the game we were going to have the toughest time winning, even with Priester starting.

We threw a guy in from off the couch and just didn't get the big hit. A split would be a disappointing outcome, but we're not there yet. Take 3 of 4, and that's a winning home stand.

We out-hit 'em 10-9

That's like "raising a Musky" right, (count's for something ??)

Raising one is always bad ass but usually leads to another 10,000 casts before catching one

If Chourio isn’t comfortable running at full speed he isn’t going to help the team and might end up popping the muscle and being done for the season.

Frelick and Collins for Lockridge and Bauers would be a step up.
