I mean... who do you hit there? It's a toss up and he has been as good as anyone this year. If he's not hitting 3rd, he's hitting 1st or 2nd. 

It's been a brutal series since his first AB, but he finished the year having a big Sept, he had a big 2nd half. And again, a RHP started for the Cubs...

I think that was kinda the problem, trying too hard to pull it to advance him in the worst case. Instead flailed at a bunch of stuff away from him.

Earlier in the game they were down 2 with a rally going.  Imo the bunt made no sense.  Now down 1 with a bad match up for Turang I’m bunting.

It only made sense to me earlier because... Lockridge is really not a good hitter. 

But here... with hindsight, it's impossible to argue. If they would have, I certainly wouldn't have argued...

Cubs couldn't either after the 1st - regroup and go win the series tomorrow.  Going to have a bug pitching advantage and need to take advantage of it.
