He’s been utter garbage for most of September and the entire playoffs and he probably just cost us a win in the NLCS.

The only thing about that game that pisses me off was that was just the anti 2025 brewers.     The approaches were crap.    We are better than that.    We have given good pitchers trouble all year.

finished off with just one of the worst if not worst sequence at bats of the year for Milwaukee

I stand corrected, I must be thinking of someone else but man was that disappointing. The series might swing on that AB.

Yeah.  I said it to but I was laughing when I said it.  Only guy I've watched play whose instinct were to always get hit was Fernando Vina. He was an artist of the HBP>

Wait until you meet Luke Adams in 1.5 to 2 years from now...lol

Yeah that's fair.  Played pretty good defense tonight fwiw.

Cant take that away.   He’s so damn good with the glove.   Unfortunately his double play partner is also all glove no bat.

Then at least don’t follow it up by swinging at a pitch 12 inches high.

Yeah, swinging at the last pitch is head scratcher. He made up his mind before the ball came in.

Wut? No not right there. You are sticking an elbow out trying to tie it

Easy to say, Much harder to do when it is coming at you at 90+.  There are a few guys that had that mentality (Vina was mentioned above, Durbin), but it isn't always easy to do.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

If all today told me it's we have to get to their bullpen before the 8th inning 🤣

Thoughts on this one:

1) I will never see anything like the play in the 4th. My goodness. Baseball. What else can you say?

2) If the Dodgers get 7 innings from their starter, we are not going to win games in this series. Snell was great. We have to be better at the plate.

3) Our bullpen just wasn't quite as sharp as it needed to be. Patrick and Uribe both looked human. Dodgers had a lot of baserunners. They hit the ball harder. If we had won, it would've been highway robbery.

3) People can bag on Brice if they want. He swung at a bad pitch. But our lefties were 0 for the game, until Bauers doubled and Yeli walked. If our lefties don't hit, we don't win. Lot of blame to go around offensively.

4) Silver lining is we got to Sasaki. I think we all would have taken 1-1 headed to LA. Let's make that happen tomorrow, and all is okay. We weren't good enough tonight. The Dodgers were better. Change that tomorrow.

I think we'll be alright. Shook their pen a bit. I don't think we'll be 1 hit through 8 every game. This was always a Herculean task but I think we'll make it interesting at least. NLDS just re-emphasized that these runs are filled with anguish. Anyone who followed the Bucks run should recall that as well.
