Tough blow for the Rattlers losing those two guys but man Biloxi is going to be a really exciting follow the rest of the year!

I was at the T-Rats game today, and it was more than odd that both Fischer AND Adamczewski were absent from the starting line-up.

I told the guy I was with, they are both getting called up today!  lol

Kudos to both of them for staying around longer at auto Sunday and signing a ton of autographs before anyone (the fans) heard the news...

No Dinges or Bitonti as well - that was a "light" TRats team that came through today.

For sure!  Payne was the only top guy to take the field today.

The difference between Dinges/Bitonti not playing and Fischer/Adamczewski not playing was that the 2nd two you just knew had their days numbered in Appleton.  I expect Dinges and Bitonti to stick around for a while yet.

Payne might be the next guy to take the trip to Biloxi.

Looking at today's line-up, who would have thought they'd put up 7 runs and win?

Love the promotions; I just wonder about replacements for the Rattlers. Not sure who they might be compelled to promote from Wilson right now. Ibarguen?

Yeah, I hope we find out tomorrow...  You could be right, maybe Handelfry Encaracion? (I may have butchered that spelling)

Luis Lameda could be another option to be promoted from Wilson if they want to give guys like Handelfry and Ebel some more time yet.

Would guess Frias and Juan Martinez are next up from Arizona to Wilson?

I thought of Lameda too, but my gut tells me Ibarguen might be a little stronger bet. Handelfry, Anderson & Ebel aren't yet on the promotion horizon if I had to guess.

I'd be more inclined to advance Martinez since he has a year on Frias but wow, you can make a case for either. Very impressive starts for both.

  • INF/OF Eduardo Garcia promoted to AAA Nashville from AA Biloxi

Oh interesting! Good for him. I wonder how they split SS/3B time between he and Jett now. Garcia has been mainly playing third in Biloxi, but if Jett is imminent for the big league roster it would also be at 3b one would presume...

At what point is Eduardo Garcia rule 5 draft eligible? Or did he already pass that deadline unclaimed?

Garcia is slated for minor league free agency after the season (like he was last October before the Brewers re-signed him).

We (well, I) will be posting the formal lists of both Rule 5 eligible and minor league free-agent eligible players by end-of-day Friday, as we've done in the past. I'm aware that several diehards here maintain lists on their own as well, please hold off posting until I have, and then you may hit me with any perceived discrepancies (although the lists I will be posting have confirmation, if you know what I mean...).

Thanks,
Jim
