It is very surprising that the Steelers moved away from Kaleb Johnson after only one season. McCarthey must have saw enough in preseason.

I'm sorry that the front office and coaching staff have ruined your life by not winning a Super Bowl in the last seven years.  

I'd love to engage in rational, intelligent discussion about the Packers but all you do is whine and complain about every little thing about MLF that does not matter.  Congrats on being the 7th poster I've ignored.

The second worst thing about Josh Jacobs is the excuse he's going to be for 50% of Packers fans when we're all complaining in March that MLF hasn't been fired after missing the playoffs.

Not only have they not won a super bowl in the last seven years, but with this roster it appears this is the furthest from super bowl contention they've been under current management.

I kind of think they will probably be okay if Lloyd stays healthy. They thought enough of him to use a day 2 pick on him. He looked pretty good at various points throughout the preseason and as you said, Wilson looked okay last year and I don’t think he is anything special, 

Maybe I’m just not that high on Jacobs anymore. I kind of thought he might be a cut candidate after the 2025 season. But I expected them to do more if they went that route to address the position.

Not sure what to expect from Kaleb Johnson. He was pretty highly touted in college but looked pretty bad as a rookie. But he never got much of an opportunity as he was in A-Rodg’s doghouse from the get go. With Rodgers back this season and McCarthy now there (man that feels weird to say), it wasn’t going to get better there for him.

The McCord thing is tough. If they would have kept him, I wouldn't have been upset but I think they made the right move. He had an amazing preseason and Tyrod didn't.  Still I think what the coaches see in practice has more merit that what was going on in a preseason game with starters out. 

Still if the most controversial move they made today was trading QB3, I will take that. 

Cutting Cal Adomitis has had some online fans mad, but they weren't going to get rid of Orzech if he was going to be ready week 1. Very similar to the QB2 situation, where past production is always going to be more valuable that potential.

I am likely too geeked about the sudden upside and youth on our D-Line. But, man alive, we have some big guys who can collapse the pocket and we have Hargrave playing under Gannon which feels like a very good match. The Anthony Campbell story and what he put on tape (yes, I know vs 2nd and 3rd stringers) is kind of unbelievable. That is a BIG man who can move. 

I do have a hard time feeling there isn't something going on with the Edge room. Trade? Vet add? I don't know how we can realistically look at that room - despite some youth and legitimate upside - and think we're set until Micah gets back. Way too many question marks and injury concerns, IMHO.

For the standard of a backup quarterback, I don’t think 200 yards a game on the jets is that bad. This isn’t a decision I had a strong opinion either way. I just hope backup qb isn’t needed much this season

I was tooting the cut Jacobs horn pretty loud last season, but at the end of the year it was like he got some rest he needed or something and he was suddenly looking pretty good again. Doesn't matter now regardless. I think he's played his last down. That video is going to get released and it is going to be very bad.

That's why McCord just doesn't matter. In the best case scenario where he's a future star, it's not here anyway. They can't stash upside at backup QB. They need a plug in play for a week or 2 Love can't play. That was always gonna be Taylor.

I wish the NFL expanded to 54 man rosters and forced #54 to be quarterback. That was my point though, if love went down, do you really want someone with no regular season experience playing QB? Taylor is not a great QB but he serviceable and will keep them in the game. Who knows what McCord would do? 
Hafferty has some time in Miami before being on the hot seat  and can try to develop him . LaFluer needs to win now. That was made very clear by Policy.
