If it only happens today, I'm glad to have witnessed this ass beating of the dodgers

Please accept my apology for posting a picture of you without your knowledge. I know my daughters want right of approval for all pictures before they are posted on social media. I just hope this isn't a "CEO caught cheating on a Kiss Cam" moment for you.

And how could you take the heat sitting there? I think the brown patches seen on the berm are from other fans melting on the spot.

We are flying out to Arizona today. Literally going from having a blizzard in western Illinois yesterday to 100+ degree heat. That is going to be an adjustment.

Bring some of that heat back with you.

We are headed there in a week...  Good luck!

Less than ideal regarding Woody but he is a vet and I trust what he says. I'm expecting his velo during the season to sit in the low 90's. He is a bulldog and knows how to pitch so I trust he will adjust.

Woodruff and the team understand it's a long season. We see it every year where older pitchers ramp up their velo as the season goes on...

Of course, we also see lower velocities in older pitchers coming off major surgery, whose velocities never return.

But we saw good velocity from Woody late last season, so I'm choosing to think he's merely being patient and careful with his ramp up.

Woody was hitting 92-93 consistently in the first three innings. Which is about where he was last year.

Then after a long down period caused by a 7 run outburst, he was at 88-89.

Tells me he was tiring and that he's not fully built up.

I think at least one more start before the regular season is necessary.

Today’s game is going to be the first big test. The first two days we limited outdoor time to mostly before 9 and after 5 and then yesterday the Grand Canyon was 20 degrees cooler. Hopefully it cools down a bit for you.

Sort of the beginning of the end of the Big 3 era, Hopefully, we have another wave coming with all the talented young starters we have now.

About Ortiz' defense, Rock said: You never take it for granted. But sometimes you do.

He is still in spring baseball form and he needs to step up his game for opening day.

Very encouraging 4 scoreless from Gasser with 5 ks

Contreras just hit a 2 run opposite field bomb……..followed by…….you guessed it Jake Bauers……he hit one seemed like the parking lot in right…….way way gone.
