The awful decision to go infield in during the 4th inning while winning 4-3 might cost the Brewers runs here

And it cost the Brewers runs

Of all the guys you let get to you with two outs, you just had to let that turd Contreras get to you. Bad 2-2 pitch.

It seems like it. I fear the team kept him around a year too late, if not two.

I didn't like his signing at all in 2024 and liked the QO even less.

Another one of those Murph ball things that makes no sense 😕

Woody has been a great Brewers player.

He remains a quality person.

He is not currently a good pitcher.

He is currently a very expensive player.

These 92 mph fastball variants with a changeup aren't going to play.  I think I'd rather see Gasser, Crow, or Henderson.

While it is cold, I’m not so sure he can consistently even hit 93 anymore.  He looks done

I watched one of his Trats starts in person last year and thought the same thing, then by the end of the year he was throwing pretty well.  He’s probably a serviceable 4/5 type starter now but he’ll be good enough to eat up innings.

It infuriates me that they waited til 75 + pitches in to steal a strike with that curveball. I know it may not be a great pitch, or the metrics may not be high on it, but Woody is insane if he thinks he is just going to be able to cruise through lineups throwing all fastballs and changeups. In order to do that throwing 91, you need Maddox level command.

He needs to use his full arsenal strategically to keep them guessing. And what happened when he finally did? He whiffed the batter on 3 pitches.

What a weird game.

Feels like a ST game with how slow and sloppy the game has been

I think instead of trotting Woody back out or trying to see if he can get Grant Andershot’s arm to fall off, Murph should just see if he can get a few innings out of Hall. Gotta see if he can ever be more than mop up duty.

I hope we see a veteran pitcher inning here in the 5th inning from Woodruff.

Four pitches... That's huge.
