Drohan is a young pitcher. He needs to get to where he knows exactly where the ball is going, not where he hopes it will go.

How is that ball hit to Hamilton a “single”? It’s a ball hit directly at a fielder that he had a play on and he booted it. What even is an error? Yes, it’s a tough play, it’s still an error. Not every ball hit to an infielder is going to be a routine grounder.

I don't think that's a guarantee. Let's see Pratt handle AAA pitching before we contemplate bringing him up.

I feel like expectations got too high for Drohan after spring training. At the end of the day he was a 27 year old career minor leaguer. A throw in. The real prize of the deal was Kyle Harrison and it is looking like a substantial fleece by Arnold and Co. He probably will still be a solid pen arm for us this year when DL inevitably ends up on the IL.

Let's see what happens when Chourio/Vaughn make it back. Remember, Murphy wasn't even hopped up about Mitchell going north with the team so he probably feels hamstrung right now & has him up there simply because he's been productive lately. In todays' lineup I'd have rather had Rengifo in the 2-hole.

Not exactly a ton of options, especially with Turang sitting.
