Seems like we're going to be a team that needs to rely on run production for a chance this season.  I just don't have a good feeling about things and sure hope we don't get swept by the Nationals at home.

I'm not feeling too positive about this team at all.

I sincerely hope they do something today to change those feelings...

Something?  Anything?  Please?

They were 16-15 at the end of April last year. All the while with Myers, Payamps, Alexander and Peguero with eras over 6 plus Civale, Woodruff, DL Hall and Ashby all on the IL.

Yell is hitting far too many grounders to 2nd base. That seems to be a sign of him entering a slump. Hope it is short lived. We need his bat with Chourio & Vaughn out of the lineup with injuries.

For a team that relies on defense to win, it’s no surprise that we’re on a 4 game losing streak for how bad the defense has been lately.

Yeah, I was just being more rhetorical than anything. Giving us fits this series.

Cubs slow start makes now the time to get things sorted out.

Cubs have nothing to do with the Brewers at this point.

If the Brewers don’t straighten out they will be fighting with everyone else in the division too.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

uh-oh … Washington is now all over these 90 mph center cut “fastballs” from Woodruff. I’m concerned we won’t get $22M worth of value from him this year.

For a team that pinches as many pennies as we do, we paid a lot for a #5.

I didn’t think it was possible, but it looks like Lockridge has a worse arm than Yelich.

Woods is an exceptional young talent. He’s breaking out in a way I’d love to see Chourio break out once he returns from injury.

Yeah, our record isn’t too concerning, I mean we are on pace to be 80-60 after 140 games.

More concerning right now is the way they’re swinging the bat. Ortiz is still Ortiz, we know what we got. The hole at 3B was never addressed. But the biggest problem is the outfield. Frelick is not swinging a good bat and Lockridge and Perkins are roster cloggers. We need Chourio back. If it weren’t for Garrett Mitchell, we’d likely be under .500.
