Brewers (Misiorowski) vs Blue Jays (Gausman): 4/14/26, 6:40pm

There wasn't a contingency plan for the entire bullpen being terrible.  What do you even do?  Just call up the starting depth and let them have at it?  Hope the few guys having early success in Nashville's bullpen can handle this level?  Cycle through other teams' DFAs hoping someone turns it around?

I could see this streak getting really ugly.

Like 10 or 12 games ugly.

Maybe George Webb will feel sorry for the fans and give out free hamburgers if the Brewers lose 12 in a row.

I can't believe Freddy Peralta meant so much to this team.

Vinny Rottino is such a homer. Claims he doesn't see anything wrong with Megill's stuff when his velo, spin, and stuff+ are all considerably down.

Well, at least Murphy is still dragging his kids to the post game pressers...

I don't see an end in sight with the left side of the infield, Sal swinging a pool noodle, and this bullpen. Can we tread water til mid May? I am dubious. April and all our leverage arms are cooked.

The funny thing is Frelick's hard hit % and exit velocity is better this year than it was last year.  It's obviously still terrible but this regression should have been seen from a mile away.

Jason Seaver, “Well, well, well….”

For the sky is falling, a .500 record is pretty good.  Maybe Pat will lead the team in a Champaign toast ala 2005.

Murphy ripping the fans for booing?  Probably not the best thing.

Fans shouldn't boo their own players, that doesn't help anyone, but Murphy scolding them isn't probably going to sit well.

This is ridiculous.  Be a professional.  I don’t know how this is tolerable

This is just weird. It is 10:20 pm on a school night. What young kids want to stay up late to repeatedly accompany their 67 year old father to a press conference and try to stay awake while he fields questions about a team losing streak?

I have always hated this.

It's simply not appropriate.  Even weirder, the cameraman always puts all the kids in the screen on wide angle.

It's just strange, the entire situation.

Using your kids as human shields is very strange of a dad to do.

Murph defending Magill like he was his first born son.

I know,  Murf didn't do that with Caleb Durbin, He benched him.  Losing my respect for Murphy this season. He's shifting the blame off himself onto Megill, heck a blind man can see there is something wrong with Megill. Then Brewers should send him to Nashville to fix it and not blow the season in the first few months.

Uribe was always the closer in waiting, but he has been really bad this season. In fact Ashby has too......Good gosh this team that always traded for relievers at the trade deadline instead of bats finds themselves lacking both.

I understand we have a wealth of minor league talent. But it just seems we are missing our chance here. We will wait until our minor league talent comes up and we will be in the exact same position in five years. We need to actually loosen up the purse springs and give us more offense than Gary Sanchez.

Until then how many times will we have to watch Ortiz cost us a game with bases loaded?

Part of me thinks that we should just bring up the kids and let them take their hard knocks. It would be better than enduring a season of Ortiz, Perkins Rengifo, and Lockridge
