Will be interesting to see what transactions are made and what the lineup looks like. Would like Murphy to get creative a bit and try to get Vaughn/Bauers/Black all in the same lineup against Leahy but thinking not.

Great time for reinforcements with the division opponent on deck. Hopefully the team gets some juice from it.

We have a lot of warts - but kudos to the guys for holding it together. 88 win pace while being down Chourio, Vaughn, Yelich, Priester, Koenig, Rob Z, and now Woody and Zerpa... it isn't nothing.

If Chourio needs another day or two to rest his foot I really hope Bauers is the LF against RHP. DH Black, Bauers in LF, Vaughn at 1B. That looks great to me.

I would send down Perkins and Jones, with the full intention of Bauers getting a lot of LF time. That still gives you flexibility to have Black DH vs righties until Yelich comes back. At which point you see how Black is hitting, where new injuries are, and figure out what to do next.

Maybe Lockridge gets some run in center or right as well vs. lefties at least.

OT:  While what Priester did last year imo makes the trade a win for the Brewers almost no matter what happens from here, Yophery Rodriguez's #'s a month into the season:

.296 /.374 /.605 /.979

These are inflated by 6 home runs in 81 at bats which isn't sustainable, but I was sad to see him go out at the time.

He's repeating the level at High A at age 20.  We'll see how he does if/when the Sox move him to AA.

Read a report that Joey O is going to be sent down for Pratt today, is that true?

Welcome to Brewer Fanatic!

The only thing I’ve seen for certain is Cooper Pratt was a last minute scratch from yesterday’s Nashville lineup.

That's just online speculation because Pratt was late scratched in AAA yesterday. Could happen. If I had to guess, I'd say it's just a coincidence and Pratt isn't being called up.

Hogg just said he wouldn't anticipate Pratt being called up

It didn't by chance come from a Twitter account with the name SeanWrightNBA, did it?

I wasn't thrilled about the trade at the time, either. Priester made me feel just a smidge better about it last summer, though😁.

Laras' early season, the move of Adamczewski to LF & the re-emergence of Braylon Payne has lessened the sting of losing Yoph. But I still like him.
