Probably one of the most complete and satisfying wins of the season, though those 4 runs in the second were pretty infuriating if you’re the other team.

A little bizarre to be on pace for exactly 90 wins and feel like it’s kind of been a struggle this year.

It feels like a struggle because of the division we are in I think.    We need to get to second place.    And then we will have to see if the cubs slow down some

The division will be tough this year.

So, a laceration for Lockridge. A pretty deep one. No bone damage. Good news, but I suspect he'll have an IL stint, Perkins will be recalled, and some fans will react as if they just had their air compressor stolen from their garage. It could be Lara but I wouldn't expect it. Leonard would be tempting, but I believe he's out of options so you'd have to keep him here & that would be tough to do.

Sounds like Yelich is getting pretty close to returning.

Getting Drohan and Harrison for Durbin is just ridiculous…….Kudos to the scouting department for identifying him.

And you can just see the potential dripping off Sproat. This front office sort of knows what they're doing.

If it were based on merit and production and who deserves it, it would 100% be Lara.

Because Lara isn’t on the 40, Yelich is already close to returning and it’s simple and cleaner, it’ll be Perkins.

Murphy also said there is so much swelling that they will need to do an MRI to find out if anything else is messed up.

” He’s going to out awhile “

The way he hit that wall he could have done some damage to his knee that couldn’t be determined until the swelling goes down

I think an IL stint is nearly certain because they’ll want another RH hitter as soon as Sunday and he won’t be ready by then.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Somebody will be up to replace him tomorrow…….I would bet on it.

I'm expecting the easy route and for Perkins to be back.

I want it to be Leonard.

He has earned the chance and the "call up a right handed infielder" gig is going to go to Jett and then Pratt soon enough.

It feels like now is the only time Leonard will be able to help the big league club this year.

If he comes up and performs, it forces a good choice. Ortiz has options. If we send Leonard back down, he has created trade value for himself this year and maybe we can get a lottery ticket back for him or a decent chunk of change.

Both Made and O'Rae are shoving up as well... losing the depth with Leonard isn't something to do willingly but if it happens and we can get something for him our system is full of infielders earning/needing promotions.
