Might’ve gotten a break on that last strike. I’m not sure that was a swing and the home played up. Called it himself. They didn’t show a replay from the side.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I give Gasser a C or C- command-wise (it got better as he went though), but an A+ for poise & confidence. And if that continues its huge. Same with Sproat his last time out. Too bad Ashby can't pass on the W & give it to Gasser; I'm sure he would.

Cecconi had one of those games where he might as well be walking the ball up to the plate the way he was locating on the corners, up, down. I think that led to some chasing later on. His leaving, the game being tied & winning it vs their BP wasn't what the smart money would've called for.

Just heard Mitchell is hitting over .350 in June with an OPS over 1.000. I knew he's been good lately but didn't realize the numbers were that hefty. Maybe we got somethin' here after all.

You can't be serious throwing shade at Sophia.

Turang homered and it's literally just like 30 seconds of weird silence before she picks it up with the softball questions to Pratt's parents again.  I stand by my comment.

Just read the comments. I wonder if the in-game threads of other teams are as angry as this one.

It’s criminal what the brewers are doing with Vaughn.

I’d like to substitute the word passionate for angry in your post 😏

I was validated to see similar reactions in this thread to the feeeeeewings I had watching the Vaughn-to-Frelick PH decision in my workshop. What on Earth was the thought process there?!? I nearly threw some precious tools I was so miffed at the silliness. Maybe if Vaughn's arm or hand fell off I'd consider putting 2026 Frelick in that spot. Knowing Murph, he'll explicate it that Sal's such a nice young man and he thought he'd have a special spark there 🫠

Anywho, love Murph. From time-to-time he makes some absolutely head scratching decisions that are very hard to defend.

Murphy’s logic was very bizarre. Basically his gut and Sal being clutch this year but Sal has a 52 wRC+ in high leverage situations on the season.

IF there was less than two out and IF Vaughn has trouble making contact you might understand the thought process. But there wasn't, and he doesn't.

I dunno🤔.

Boy I hate the strictly righty/lefty matchup pinchi-hit decisions when it comes to Frelick pinch-hitting. I can understand him hitting for.. Ortiz, but not Vaughn.

I also don’t understand why he’s being used as a defensive sub. If you’re doing the defensive sub thing, it should definitely be Perkins coming in. I don’t know if Frelick is playing through an injury or what but he’s fallen off hard defensively this year and his arm is worse. Thought he had another pretty weak throw on the run tonight
