Wilson has resumed yesterday’s rain-delayed game in Fredericksburg, with the contest tied 1-1 in the top of the 4th inning with 2-on, 1-out and Luis Lameda at the plate.

The Warbirds trail this week’s series 2 games to 1.

21-year old RHP BIshop Letson (5 IP, 1 R, 4 Ks last outing) and AA Biloxi can clinch this week’s series at Montgomery with a win tonight. DH Josh Adamczewski has an 8-game hitting streak.

AAA Nashville is tied 2-2 in their home series against Gwinnett, with RHP Gerson Garabito getting the start 4 days after tossing 2 innings (0 R, 1 K; 24 pitches). 1B Luke Adams has 8 homers in 65 June at-bats.

Wisconsin have a 6-game winning streak and 20-year old RHP Jayden Dubanewicz (10 IP, 4 R, 11 Ks in 2 High-A starts) is toeing the slab first tonight at home against Cedar Rapids. RF Josiah Ragsdale had 15 hits in his last 8 games, including 10 extra base hits.

Low-A Wilson have dropped 3 straight at Fredericksburg, but welcome 6’8” RHP Jacob Morrison back from injury (last pitched May 30). Ortuno, Ibarguen, Montero and Fielder are new entries to the lineup for Game 2.

To be fair our low A pitchers were both 22 today ….. but were last year draft picks 

But out starting high pitcher tidal is 20. And our AA starter pitcher today is 21.  
 

That BA article from earlier this month showed that the Brewers had the youngest hitters and pitchers in the minors and that was before we moved some guys up and promoted some more teenagers. That same article had the hitters just under average in batting average, we were easily tops in minors for OBP and walks - our clubs walk a lot. Power was rated low, but I have to think the recent barrage by Fischer, Burke and Payne will get the organization at least to average at some point.
