Sure hope Gasser can go six.  Not sure what happens if he goes less.

You just have to imagine Kuhnel is getting DFA'd today and a fresh arm is being called up.

Have any of McGee, Rom and Yoho been down long enough?  Anyone else on the 40 man is on the DL.

McGee has been. Rom and Yoho have not and they both pitched yesterday so they wouldn't be fresh today.

Win for the brewers today. The runs will flow and we’ll all be happy

Looks like they aren't DFA'ing Kuhnel which feels like a mistake. You need Gasser to go at least 6 innings tonight and hopefully more than that.

Red - Kuhnel, Patrick

Yellow - Anderson, Ashby, Uribe, Megill

Green - Koenig

Gasser 3 IP 12 Runs 18 hits 9 walks

when I compliment Gasser/Sproat, they start to implode.  When I predict disaster, they give us 6 innings of 1 run ball

with our offense though…

Then please predict disaster! 😅😇

It hasn’t taken long to illustrate the challenges of having a lot of games with no off days.

A B level starter with only 3 of the 7 relievers fresh (including none of the top three) could easily be a problem if the starter runs into trouble early.. Winning a game with that pitching combination usually will require more than a run or two, but the Brewers offense has been trouble producing more than that lately.

Lodolo mesmerized the Brewers last week with  6 Ks  in 4 IP. Hopefully the Brewers will see the ball better against him tonight

Gasser is coming off his best start of the year;. It does help when your stakes younto a seven run lead early in the game, but maybe that outing will give him some confidence coming into tonight. The Brewers need several good innings from him.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I surely hope so … I’m not a Kuhnel fan … far too many walks, HRs, runs in general

If the A’s deemed him unusable, that’s enough for me

Well, I certainly welcome the positive vibes from this post! Hope your prediction is on target.

Sproat and/or Drohan could easily go tonight in the event you need length; of course if that happens you'd need to amend your plans for one of the upcoming games. You don't want to do that but it's available to them.

Kuhnel---I would've put money on him being on a plane somewhere. Surprising.

I hope it’s just a matter of time before this transaction takes place

It sucks to lose that challenge but I don't mind it because it was close and it would have gotten them out of the inning.  Gasser needs to get it together.

Nightnmare scenario.

An early deficit and Gasser headed for a short start.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I am frustrated with Contreras' pitch calling lately. The diet of sinkers to opposite handed hitters needs to just go away especially with 2 strikes. Gee what a shock that pitch ended up being a barrel and started this whole inning with 2 outs.

Right now honestly Turang could be a platoon guy because he cannot hit left-handed pitching to save his life.

Hitting 0.174 against Lefty's
