Agreed. They are a balanced team. They are winning games when the fans are saying they are not playing well. I said last night, I just don’t think most fans watch baseball outside of the team they cheer for. I don’t know what more people want. Great pitching and a team that scores 5 runs per game which is top five in baseball.

Actually they are winning games when the manager has been saying they aren’t playing well.

I would like a team that scores 5 runs a game but the Brewers haven’t really been doing that for the last 10 weeks without the help of the games in Colorado and Vegas. They were 10th in the NL in RPG in May and 9th in the games since they returned from Vegas.

At least the offense hasn’t completely cratered like the Braves have.

Love it. I expect nothing less than 3 for 4 with a walk from Lara.

Or it's back on the bus.

What I get frustrated with is they are actually creating opportunities at the level to score a bunch of runs but they are not cashing them in and it’s been for awhile.   They are definitely not playing the same way with men on base as they were earlier in the season.   The at bats and approaches have been horrendous.  The base running has been poor too but they keep getting away with it because the pitchers have been holding one run leads for 5 innings or so

there are many ways to win the game and the brewers know how to do it there is no denying that but they are putting too much pressure on the pitchers imo.  They need to go back to earlier in the year when they consderably more pest like and smart on offense.    It’s annoying now

Do we think they tell these guys when they are called up “ Listen we need you for the first game of the DH…..but just to be clear…..no matter how you pitch you are going to get DFA after the game….”?

The Brewers did the exact same thing to him last year.

I think he knows the score.

Has to be hard for Vaughn to get in any sort of rhythm

Also didn't play him against the lefty in game 1.  Just weird, stupid stuff.

He isn’t being DFA he’s just being sent back to the minors.

In Gasser’s case, I think he can be pretty sure that he’ll be back before long

The tweet was referencing Zimmerman.  It says he was DFA'd.
