It's so odd seeing this hat logo with that uniform.

Who's in charge of uniforms? This crap needs to stop. The Wisco ones need to be burned as well. I swear they're letting AI come up with this junk.

He was a platinum glover in the minors.

I’m a huge Lara fan. He needs to play CF five days a week. I love his arm, speed, bat, style … I don’t think he’s reading the ball well in right field.

The Milwaukee Brewers' on-field looks are designed in collaboration with Nike and MLB's official uniform manufacturer Fanatics, alongside team business executives like President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger.

Didn't really need to know Drohan's sister had a daughter that gave him "uncle strength" and also apparently the ability to give up 3 runs in 3 innings to a bad Rockies team.

I blame the logo!

But I do have questions about Lara. He's a young player and it's certainly a small sample size but I guess I don't see what he brings to the table that makes him a guy they want to build with. Maybe he's playing out of position but he's just a 'meh' type of guy for me.

Still plenty of time left in this game but man our offense is just not a fun group to watch right now. A lot of guys struggling at the same time and have been for quite some time. I wonder where the offense ranks across baseball over the past six weeks or so?

Agreed. And somewhat surprising given that Mitchell is "only" above average in center.

This Sugano guy for the Rockies has given up a .593 SLG% to left handed hitters this year.  Our first two at bats went homer, single and after that we've gone ground out, ground out, ground out, pop out, fly out, single.

Doesn’t help that Drohan just keeps digging a bigger hole and the defense isn’t doing anything to help either. Just a poor fundamental day.

OAA has Mitchell in the 86th percentile in range.  Nothing I've seen from Lara tells me he would be that good.

Pretty average showing from Drohan so far the batters need to step up here to help him out

Murphy hasn’t really done anything to help him get settled in. It’s a sharp contrast to Pratt where they obviously had a plan for him to play regardless of what Ortiz is doing and he didn’t lose playing time when he was struggling. Lara’s playing time and positioning has been pretty inconsistent and he’s been all over the lineup. I’m just not really sure at this point why they called him up.

Welcome to the board!

Lara has only 30 at bats so way to early to tell.
