Guys, Sproat sucks. His next start will be in August.  I don’t know how many more starts we need to see to start acknowledging it.

I can’t watch Sproat pitch. I pause & walk away. Then I follow online until the inning is over. I rewind when I see posts about good defensive plays. I hope he improves next year, but he is far & away my least favorite young player on this team.

He is just not fun to watch pitch. Everything is either nowhere close or a fat meatball.

The stuff is there but it's just all over the damn place. Needs to spend an entire offseason in the pitching lab figuring out how to be more consistent.

Sproat should spend some time in Nashville. He is not currently worthy of a starting spot for a playoff bound team.

The best argument I can make for going after a guy like Skubal besides the fact that he is Skubal is that he would likely replace Sproat.

Sproat's ERA in his last 7 starts is actually pretty good. 3.45 ERA and 1.15 WHIP.  Even his last 15 he has a 4.48 ERA.  The problem is his blowups and that Murphy is pulling him before it gets out of hand. In his last 7 starts, he threw 2, 4,2, 3, 4, 5.1, 6, and 3.2 IP.  That's horrible for a starting pitcher and a bullpen killer. Somehow he is 2-1 in those starts. That's thanks to the bullpen and the offense.

Hardly nonsense. I'll defer to the decision-making of the winningest manager in Brewers history for the most part. 

At 21 years of age I think Lara could play day after a day game. Just my opinion.

Maybe he gets a quality start tonight. That’s all a manager can reasonably ask.
