Right now?

Still doesn't go as deep as I would like. I think he will be there next year.

Fischer and Burke homer again. Fischer or Yelich as the dh 🤔

Fischer 3T0?   That dude is a BEAST!

Please Murphy … let Henderson go 7 tonight. He’s at 85 pitches through five innings after throwing 33 in the first inning. He’s okay. He’s in control. Let him pitch!

I suspect Murphy doesn’t have the final say, and/ or is being pressured to keep running with Yeli.

I really don’t think so, I don’t think there’s anyone above him in the organization who lacks the emotional intelligence to want him to do what’s best for the club.

The Brewers organization has become pretty good at staying in their respective lanes.

Two former Tennessee Vols 1B … 60 homers this season between them.

33 and 27 on the season respectively.  Ragsdale with 15 and Adamczewski 14.  That kind of pop sounds very fun.

I think Murf is just hoping he gets hot before the playoffs but I sure wouldn't play Yeli everyday.  Every other game would be good enough for me.

I’m not so sure … I believe Murphy is the one unwilling to accept that Yelich is now a part time player

Burke also stole his 25th base tonight. 25/25 season from Blake Burke. I know we all saw that coming.

Burke does not have a “baseball body” … he looks like an offensive lineman. It is remarkable that he is 25 for 25 on stolen bases this season. He’s not exceptionally fast. One of minor league baseball’s most mind-blowing stats!

I'm not buying that, not for a second...

Maybe not directly. He has mentioned that he has a group he meets with to discuss the lineups. Could just be his assistant staff. But he said something a couple weeks ago that implied there is input from outside that circle. If they were only a couple games up in the division, I can’t believe he would keep him putting him out there.

I hate this decision to pull Henderson here. It is unnecessary to coddle & pamper grown men. I abhor Murphy’s in-game decision making.

The problem with professional athletes in this day and age is that they are either coming off an injury, right in the middle of an injury or just about to  be injured, so they are constantly in a state of being pampered and coddled
