How are we as high as 21? Is there a current playoff team that's worse?

White Sox and Braves seem to be worse.

Obviously not a lot to complain about tonight but the bottom of this lineup was just fine with Pratt and Ortiz before Hamilton started hanging around again.

On a heater offensively. Plays better defense. Left out of starting lineup. Not the typical line of thinking.

I think hes earned temporary everyday player status as long as hes hitting.  I like Hamilton, but spot started at SS and 3rd and pinch runner only.  As long as Ortiz is hitting

Murphy is that boss at work who goes running up to the guy who has called in sick for a week happy to see them even though you been doing his job just fine.

There should be at least one Red-Eye to Nashville available after the game.  Man, Chourio!

Another disgusting strikeout for Chourio. The two guys in front of you walk so you decide to swing at balls and k. This is what I'm talking about. It's not seeing the ball. It's no plan.

Off topic, but what exactly makes Kurt Suzuki qualified to be a major league manager? Granted, the Angels are barely a major league team, but still.

He’s obviously not getting sent down but he could use a couple days off. He is not right

Trade deadline depending of course, but I wouldn't mind having Chourio sit a couple days and let Lockridge have a couple starts. Just let the kid do some cage work and live bullpens to start seeing it.

Does Jackson even know what the strike zone is?

No, but according to an earlier post, it has something to do with his age 😉

Yelich is by far the most consistent player on the Brewers this season. Consistently 1 for 4 or 1 for 5, but consistent.

And then there is that.  Yelich's swing is so darn discombobulated most of the time.

He sometimes doesn't look like he's physically able to get to some balls.

Chourio is just a mess right now.

I said it on here before, but it feela.like he decides to swing or not before the pitch is thrown.  The amount of strikes he watches and balls he swings makes it feel.like hes just guessing.  When he swings at strikes hes as good as anyone.

Chourio obviously doesn’t like that he is being upstaged by Lara and Pratt. They are young too and seeing things just fine and they do not have nearly as many major league ABs. He’s not the super kid on the block anymore..

If Frelick comes back ready to play we might have a decent option to put Chourio on the bench a bit. Murphy probably won't do it but it should be a conversation if it keeps like this and Sal can find it.

I like this idea. Frelick starts vs RHP and Chourio vs LHP? But, Murphy unlikely to see reason.
