You think at some point Levering will just record two tracks "Yelich strikes out" and "Yelich with a grounder to 2nd." and then he can just go for a little walk to stretch his legs or get a hot dog or something?  It's not like he needs to call the at bat, since he knows one of those two things is going to happen.

At least they had to give up something since they’ll just sign him to a 10 year, 500M deal after this season either way.

I didn’t see the point of giving away real good prospects for skubal and then he signs for dodgers in two months anyways.  I’d rather hope these prospects come up and hit and provide a real offense that might get us over the hump down the road

I love it & I hate it.

I hope this causes Milwaukee to hold onto their prospects & play out this pre-lockout season as best they can. I’d rather compete against LA as the ultimate underdog & hope for the best. There is no need to make a big trade. Add a few small pieces & focus on playing great baseball.

Yep, now we need to keep the prospects.  I could see a small trade or two, but no need to send out anyone from our top 10-15 prospects.

Given our deadline acquisitions lately, he would either have had a 5 ERA the rest of the way or have gotten hurt two starts in.  Though the Dodgers' package isn't anything like the media/Tigers fans had been suggesting we would have had to give up.
