We don't have the style of offense that'll win in October. Not yet. Our GB rate as a team is 47.5% (worst in the league) and we're supposedly jettisoning a prospect because of a small sample size GB rate? Yeah, I don't believe that for a second.

You actually can when it works in the regular season. It is baseball **** happens speaking of small sample sizes what do you think the playoffs are. It is inherently random. Questioning Arnold after he has basically "won" every trade in his tenure is wild to me and I am no sycophant. I just don't know how you can make the conclusion that it doesn't work. Baseball is hard man.

As for Frias the swing needs an overhaul. When is the last time the Brewers Player Dev team has had success with that?  I will admit I got a little caught in his hype with the national spotlight, but that is a swing that is just not gonna lift the ball on its face, If they can get him to play at his potential good on them. I dont think the Brewers could. He is a very high risk player to even make the big leagues. There is a reason he was shopped around the league. I trust the org at this point and I have been saying his swing wasn't gonna work going back to June.

Yes, thats all been reported.  You said some people want to trade prospects for players and get upset when they don't.  And then when they do trade prospects for players they complain, insinuating the were hypocrites or at least just looking to complain.   Im saying when those general term "players" are exchanged for two different names the scenarios become two differwnt scenarios.

And not that its relevant to this discussion, I wouldnt have given up Made or Harrison either.

You need to win to even have a chance at the playoffs though…so yes having a good record it’s important

I'm a fan of an NFL team that is not the Packers.  Been a fan of that team since there inception in the 70's,  I thought my team would never, EVER, win the Super Bowl, based on history, based on luck, based on whatever, it just seemed I was destined to never feel that feeling.

I was wrong, and now my team has won it twice!  Believe me when I tell you, outside of the birth of my 2 kids, that first super bowl victory was one of the top 5 days of my entire life!

It can happen, and it will!  I think our true window for the Brewers has yet to open, but I think that is happening soon, and we WILL get that World Series win in the next decade!
