You gotta be kidding me to be bunting down 5????  You can't give away outs.  If he is going to bunt down 5 he shouldn't be in the big leagues and for sure not in the starting line up.

Bunting down 5. Excellent. Why not just let a pitcher bat.

Pat (two-time MOY) Murphy knows best.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Even in a vast majority of their recent wins they haven’t been playing well.  They have been winning ugly.   They can’t hit for crap and the pitching is in some serious trouble.

His ERA has doubled since 6/2

He has a 3.28 ERA and great peripherals. Who cares that his ERA jas doubled from 1.6 to 3.2 when you include a game played in Vegas where the ball flew like crazy and he gave up 8 ER.

Why are we bunting down 5

Probably because the guy we chose to start at 2B tonight, simply can not swing the bat.

That's it for me, I never check out early, I'm a "to the bitter end" guy, but enough is enough.

Tomorrow is another day...

He’s gone 5 innings, 2 innings, 4 innings, 5 innings again and probably less than 5 tonight. He’s just a guy.

Yeah totally. The guy who went 5 innings with 10 K in his last start and was only removed because of cramping is just a guy.

Once again Chourio swings at 1st pitch ball. He will not reach potential until he can get a plan and not get himself out.

He goes off for a week or so then falls right back into the bad habits.

I will say I'd have a very strong preference for him pitching at home in the playoffs than on the road.

I like to post, that a Chourio that works the count is a monster.   A walking Chourio is an MVP.  Problem is, he seemingly loves swinging first pitch.

Wasn't Harrison up 0-2 over Cronenworth last AB and couldn't put him away? Another indictment on him in this game. Took a team effort to give up 5 runs in that inning.

GM is a hack if he didn’t think they needed very obvious help in the lineup. Prospect hoarding cost this team a chance at the pennant.

Yeah if Yelich is basically your everyday DH you need a bat or two, doesn't matter what position they play
