I was ready to stick a fork in Megill after April. Since then, he’s allowed pretty much one run per month and zero home runs all season.

Pretty much what the playoffs are gonna be like 

Great defense, low scoring and just enough runs to win 

Braves played well also. Some clutch defensive plays from their SS and Acuna to save likely runs and Sale was tough like always

Honestly, given the circumstances, I'd have managed that the exact same way. 

This is the downside of the 6-man rotation = 7-man bullpen. It's especially rough when you're coming off two short outings by your starters, which left us with 5 of that 7-man bullpen with more than 30 pitches in the last two games. If they had gone extras, I shudder to think. When we hit Sep. 1, we'll get another arm in there, but this is the way it had to be today. (And you don't burn Drohan who's starting on Sunday).

Yup. I have so much more confidence in the starting staff this year. I would love to have the lineup consistently have Chourio followed by Bauers and then Vaughn.

That was a playoff game in August…..tremendous defense(other than Turang throw) by both sides…….Miz putting up 6 zeros with probably his worst fastball command of the year…….Contreras coming up huge.
