It took…. One game for these two bozos to not be on the same page on a critical 4th down.

From what I can tell, Kraft was on the field for that play.  Love audibled to the "kill" play (and flopped like a dead fish on his back) instead of the original play called.

I wonder if the Kraft sneak was the original play called and they are protecting Love for the failed audible?

When I look at this team, all I see is pain. I don’t even think they “suck.”  Would that that were true! The true pain isn’t in sucking. No, the Packers are worse than that, friends. They’re tragic.

To suck in sports could actually be generative. It could provide clarity, draft capital, or the conviction to change. At the very least, a state of “suck” can be comedic.

The Packers don’t truly suck, and haven’t for decades. Most of the time, they’re fatally flawed, which is the nature of all tragedy. Sometimes the flaw waits like an o-ring on Apollo 13, ready to hit you from nowhere when you least expect it (Bostick in Seattle). Sometimes the flaws are in plain sight for a year or more (the current offensive line). But inevitably the team will maintain a general baseline competence mixed with just enough brilliance (usually from the passing game, or maybe a hall of famer on defense) to prop up at least a feeble justification for staying the course. And so, like Sisyphus, we’ll keep rolling the cursed boulder up the hill again.

To anyone who thinks the bottom is going to fall out on this team, I can only say you haven’t been paying attention. We’re really better, and so much worse, than that. I want another Super Bowl this year, but failing that, I want three wins or less. Nothing is going to change otherwise.

But we’ll get neither glory or suck: nine or ten wins, maybe eleven if it breaks right, a glimpse of potential, followed by humiliation. Then the ritual gaslighting in the offseason.

Take up your boulder and push.

I agree.  They wouldn't get so many double-digit leads and leads in the 4th quarter if they truly sucked.  As of now I think the best definition is chokers.  Offense does nothing and the defense becomes a sieve late in games.  Coaches look clueless as it comes to managing a game with the nice cushion.  If there ever was a prime example of chokers, over the last seven games, this team seems to be the prime example.

Is it that they’re chokers, or is it really that they’ve had mediocre rosters for years but with once in a generation players at QB who could overcome poor play around them and win games largely through their own quarterback play?

If the 2026–2027 season becomes a disaster early (e.g. being 2-6 after Week 8), are there realistic trade scenarios involving Micah Parsons before the NOV 10 deadline this season? Don't know the full contract details and what the salary cap effects would be incurred by a trade.

Sounds like Caleb has a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

I’m glad he’s not seriously injured, but my God, he acted like he got shot. Wait til he gets a real injury.

I'm glad Van Ness looks to be breaking out this year. But I am not sure that drafting raw guys in the mid-first round and getting one year of real production before their contract is up is the best use of draft capital.  Someone convince me otherwise.

Well, at least he is showing us why they picked up the 5th year option which was a bit of a surprise. I agree, sick of drafting athletes that are projects.

We haven't played a good QB yet but LVN, Cooper, Cisse and maybe a couple of other guys give me hope that when Parsons gets back we may actually have something on that side of the ball. Been fooled before though, every year.

I have been beating this drum for a long, long time.

When you are picking a guy, especially in the 1st, it shouldn’t be looked at as drafting a player. It should be looked at as drafting 4-5 years of NFL production.

If you’re really getting absolutely nothing in years 1-3, you’re basically drafting 1-2 years of NFL production. Yeah, you could end up extending them, and we often do, but then you’re paying full market value. Rookie contracts are the best value in the NFL.

I'm not saying that every NFL draft pick needs to be NFL ready from day 1 but guys with a 3-4 year learning curve aren’t efficient investments in the 1st round.

Are you sure? The same guy claiming we 1000% won the May trade claims it doesn't mean "anything" that Jordan Morgan has barely played by Year 3.

Things that make you go "Hmmmm".

I don't want to defend LaFleur but no genius can scheme his way out of a collapsed pocket. I'd make a joke about the RB trying to get through these holes but there are no holes, they are met in the backfield on the 1/3 of the snaps. They are cooked. They have the worst OL in the league. You just can't contend when that's your reality.

I do still see 10/11 wins and believe MLF is an above average head coach. The opening week of the NFL is prime territory for overreaction. I know your dislike of MLF goes back a while, and that's fine, we can agree to disagree. I guess time will tell as the story of season is along way from being written

Still? Just want to see how long it’s going to take folks to throw in the towel on this man.

LaFleur was asked if he needs to look at the coaching staff considering how bad the O-line has been and his answer was “I’m not even gonna respond to that question.”

Fire this absolute douche nozzle.

Hey, I thought Devonte Wyatt was supposed to be this super important Packer player that is vital to our success and whose absence basically tanked our chances last year, darn the bad luck?

I wouldn’t even be aware that he existed if I didn't see his name in the box score.

That was one of the biggest laughers of the off-season to me. That a complete non-factor DT whose name has been called a handful of times was this big missing piece. I'm sure he's a decent player, capable starter variety, but the word around this team you'd swear they were getting Reggie White back. It was incredibly silly.

Parsons tanked last year, plain and simple. I actually can't remember a more impactful defensive player I've ever seen for the Packers. The literal moment he was gone, they looked like this year's team.

Bet Dallas never imagined that would be the 3rd overall pick they got for him, though.

It will be "interesting" to see how the Packers dig out of this after this season. You can fix things pretty quickly in the NFL, but it depends heavily on talent evaluation and I am not too confident in their ability there. Getting the OL up to league average would change a lot in the short term. If they can't do that, you are looking at a possibly new coach and new GM around the time Love's contract expires. A new GM comes in and if he's lucky to secure a top 5 pick, it seems very likely they'd move on from Love in that draft.

Love would no doubt land somewhere, but I agree with the poster that he's in that Herbert etc. class, good enough to get a big pay day, not good enough you have to keep him for 15 years. I would guess Parsons gets traded before then.

I think this is all preemptive for now, I could just as easily see the team saying they're "staying the course" and bringing back all three dopes again.

Yeah he can bleep off with that reply.  It’s a more than fair question considering how things have gone.  He’s a dead man walking.

When your head coach/play caller says after week 3: "Right now I don’t know what we’re doing well."

Packers fans wasted no time in venting their frustrations calling for LaFleur to be replaced immediately after their disappointing performance.  This team has thrown in the towel playing for Matt LaFleur with the worst point differential in the NFL.  Maybe coach glamour boy just needs another fresh haircut, there is nothing gritty about this man.

I have lost a lot of respect for Tucker Kraft the last few weeks. First, he signs a lucrative extension and his first move is to say that we’re the best team in the league after another choke loss to open the season.

Then he follows it up by blaming fan support in week 3.

You want to complain that fans don’t support you after a 1-7 stretch? After getting curb stomped by 21 at home by a team that looked liked the worst in the league before we showed up? The fans that wait for season tickets longer than you’ll be alive?

Shut up and do something about it. We are in this position because we have leaders like this on our team that take accountability for nothing,

Claiming they are mentally strong enough is a bold statement considering that's probably the #1 thing people hate about the team outside of just being bad. They once again fell apart after the roughing the passer penalty, giving up a huge run and then getting stomped the rest of the night after looking sharp in the opening minutes.

I think it's kind of a silly question, albeit one that any worthy journalist asks anyway, just to get the quote. It's Week 3. If the Packers were coming off 5 straight losing seasons, then maybe he gets canned after Week 3, or if there are reports that 20 guys show up late to practice and the OL was at the strip club Wednesday night. But generally nobody is getting shuffled or fired in Week 3.

I wouldn't expect a substantive answer from the HC after Week 3 even as god-awful as they look. You've got to be at least halfway through the year/mathematically out of contention before moves like that get realistically possible.

I'm still here and don't think this team is as bad as they appear right now. I will freely admit the OL is much worse than I thought. I would place most of that blame on Gute, not MLF, but I'm also aware you would show both of them the door ASAP if you had that power
